YAKIMA VALLEY LIBRARIES' SUMMER READING PROGRAM

A lot happening at our local libraries this summer! The theme this year is All Together Now, and last year, over 2500 kids throughout Yakima Valley explored the Ocean of Possibilities program with our local libraries. The Yakima Valley Libraries are hoping to add a few more friends to that number this summer. Together our libraries can help the kids beat that bully of a summer slide, an d hot weather by providing the opportunity for students to track their reading and earn fun incentives. Reading is just one piece of the puzzle though, as there are tons of exciting programs in store this year including STEM programs, puppet shows, musicians, and more!
