Southwest Rotary Club & PTSA partnership assists West Valley families

At the All-District Winter Wonderland event in December, the Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA’s) from each school in the West Valley School District organized activities for students and families. The High School PTSA organized a community service project that was a fun activity to assist families in need during the winter season. Volunteers at the Winter Wonderland completed six warm fleece blankets that were donated to RAM Landing after the event. All of the materials for the fleece blankets were provided by “Give Back Give Warmth – Blanket – Yakima” with financial assistance from the Southwest Rotary Club.

RAM Landing – located at the West Valley Innovation Center – serves all families from West Valley who are in need. Food, clothing, and school supplies are needed throughout the year.
